The 2016 Community Legal Centres Queensland Conference is taking place 30 to 31 May 2016 at the Mon Komo Hotel, Redcliffe.
The Community Legal Centres Queensland conference is the premier event in the CLC calendar. Conference delegates will have the opportunity to meet with a diverse range of people including centre directors, social workers, lawyers, volunteers and decision makers.
The conference will provide delegates with an opportunity to develop and strengthen their skills, increase their knowledge and network with people working in the field.
There will be a variety of presentations, panel discussions and workshops focusing on a broad range of issues relevant to community legal centre staff and the wider legal community.
The conference will take place over two days and delegates have the opportunity to register for the full conference or just one day. Staff or volunteers who work at a CLC who are a member of Community Legal Centres Queensland can come at a discounted price.
The Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner will be held at Passion on a Plate, Redcliffe on Monday 30 May 2016 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. This is one of the most popular events in the conference calendar and the event is always well attended. The ticket price includes a two course sit down dinner as well as beer, wine and soft drinks.
Daniel Creasey, Head of Pro Bono & Responsible Business, Colin Biggers & Paisley will speak at the dinner. Daniel will briefly address the issue of challenges and opportunities that exist with the community and private sectors working together, with a particular focus on pro bono legal services. Daniel will speak briefly about the work of the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation with a view to developing new partnerships in Queensland.

What CPD Points will I get for attending the conference?
