5th National Indigenous Women's Conference

The ever popular 5th National Indigenous Women’s Conference will centre on Women’s Health & Wellbeing.

If you or your organisation feels that you could contribute to the conference, please take the time to visit their website to obtain more information. There are several ways of being involved in the event.

Firstly, if you or your organisation has developed or trialled a program that has been of benefit to the Community or the individual, ICS would be extremely keen to hear from you, either through submitting a paper or dropping them an email.

Secondly, to have an input into the Conference Agenda or the Organisational side of the Conference (steering committee), again ICS would be pleased to have you drop them a line.

CALL FOR PAPERS INVITATION

Presenters are encouraged to submit their papers articulating connection to the Conference's theme. ICS encourage all individuals and presenters to submit abstracts that cater for the broad audience of delegates comprising of Indigenous leaders, academics, politicians, activists, Indigenous Elders, cultural advocates, industry professionals, CEOs, senior managers and policy makers.

Whilst papers are generally encouraged for non Indigenous presenters ICS would advise that they Co-present with an Indigenous person, they recognise in some cases this is not possible so ask that presentation be delivered with a Community Organisation Support either verbally or written.

2nd round of papers closes on Friday 31st March 2017. Second round of papers may be called if all areas within the Conference Agenda have not been filled.

For more information about the conference and call for papers, please visit ICS's website, contact (+61) 741942803 or send them an email at adms@iinet.net.au.

To submit a paper, please complete the Submit-A-Paper form online at this link: http://indigenoushealth.net/.
