When David came to LawRight, he wanted to re-open his QCAT case. The dispute had been resolved – with David agreeing to pay an amount to the other party. But when he reviewed his invoices, he found a problem and wanted to re-open proceedings. QCAT refused to re-open the case but David wanted to appeal.
David talked to volunteer lawyers at LawRight's Self Representation Service. They explained that the QCAT decision couldn’t be appealed, and the payment agreement was binding.
David accepted that advice and expressed his appreciation for the Service’s assistance.
