Research partnerships roundtable 2016

In June 2016, the National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC) and Community Legal Centres Queensland co-hosted a research partnerships roundtable to showcase successful research collaborations between community legal centres and research organisations, discuss possible funding sources and opportunities, discuss current community legal centre research projects, and ignite conversations about possible research partnerships.

The Research Partnerships Roundtable brought together community legal centres with researchers and academics, to identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership in research projects. A highlight of the event was the opportunity to network with presenters, panellists and each other.

The keynote presentation was delivered by Professor Rosalind Croucher AM, President of the Australian Law Reform Commission. The event was supported by the UQ Pro Bono Centre (TC Beirne School of Law, University of Queensland), and generously hosted by Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
