Tasc covers a geographic catchment of over 400,000 square kilometers, with offices in Toowoomba, Ipswich, Goondiwindi, Roma, Hervey Bay, and Gympie. We have three multidisciplinary teams that provide legal advice, advocacy, and social work support to clients across a range of programs that include generalist law, elder abuse, institutional abuse, disability, and mental health advocacy. We are presently going through an exciting period of change and are looking for people keen to contribute to and share the experience.
Principal Solicitor, based in Toowoomba
- Full-time, fixed-term contract to 31 July 2025.
- Will consider hybrid 3 days in Toowoomba / 2 days in Ipswich arrangement.
- Great development opportunity.
- Some travel between other offices, including to regional areas may be required.
- Leading a team of 8+ solicitors across regional Queensland.
- Generalist role including some family, criminal, DV, child protection, civil, and other areas of law.
- Advice, leading complex casework, law reform, CLE, stakeholder management – client work is essential.
- Working with multi and cross-disciplinary teams in disability, elder abuse, and mental health advocacy.
- Reports to the A/CEO.
