2024 Community Legal Centres Queensland Leadership Forum

The 2024 Community Legal Centres Queensland Leadership Forum will bring together leaders from the sector for two days of consultation, training workshops and networking.

The Leadership Forum will be held at the Queensland Law Society Auditorium (Meanjin/Brisbane) on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 November and is for CEOs/Directors, Directors of Practice, Principal Solicitors and/or Management Committee members of Queensland based community legal centres.

Registrations Options: 

Leadership Forum Day 1 & 2* –  there is a limit of  three (3) staff/committee members from each centre who can register for this option.  A waitlist will be maintained for larger centres that wish to send more than three people for Day 1 – email communications@communitylegalqld.org.au to place additional staff on this list.

PII Session Only – the Responsible Person from each centre must attend this session (afternoon tea only included).

Additional Networking Drinks ticket – additional staff are welcome to attend the social event that will be held at the end of Day 1.

*Your ticket includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea as well as an invitation to attend the social event.

Who can attend the Leaderships Forum?

CEOs/Directors, Directors of Practice, Principal Solicitors and/or Management Committee members of Queensland based community legal centres.

Is my registration transferable?

Registrations is not refundable, but another person can attend the event in your place. Please email the details of the person attending in your place so that we can update their name tag and registration details. Email: communications@communitylegalqld.org.au

Is this a hybrid/virtual option?

NO. This event is in-person only.

I have special dietary and/or access requirements. Who do I tell?

Please indicate any dietary or accessibility requirements as part of the registrations process.

Is there accommodation available?

The venue is in the Brisbane CDB and there is range of nearby accommodation options available.  Accommodation is at your own expense. 

What is included in the cost of the registration?

Forum registration includes access to all sessions/workshops, as well as morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.  It also includes the Networking/Social Drinks.

PII Registration includes afternoon tea and access to the PII session.
